Available Programs for Residential Homes
EmPower+ Program
Provides customized energy assessments and rebates for efficiency upgrades like insulation, air sealing, ventilation, heat pumps, and electrical panel improvements. Funded in part by IRA for low/moderate-income households.
Home Efficiency Rebates
Rebates for whole-home efficiency improvements achieving at least 20-35% energy savings, verified by certified auditors. Covers single-family homes, condos, and small multi-family buildings.
Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
Federally funded through NYSERDA, this program weatherizes income-eligible single-family and multi-family homes (up to 4 units) with free insulation, sealing, and health/safety repairs.
Clean Heat Program
Rebates for installing high-efficiency heat pumps in single-family homes and small multi-family units. Supports New York’s heat pump savings goal by 2025.
